African American Rhinoplasty

This is a 37 year old patient who had a previous Rhinoplasty by another surgeon with inadequate results. Patient requested a... more defined nasal bridge, a less bulbous and fatty tip and less width in her nostril area. She underwent an African-American Ethnic Rhinoplasty Procedure where the nasal dorsum was shaved down and cartilage was removed using cartilage shave technique. The SLUPimplanTM, custom implant, was placed in the dorsum which raised the bridge and redefined the dorsal definition. The nasal tip was defatted and reconstructed using a cartilage strut and shield graft for added support, lift and definition. more »
