Melasma is very difficult to treat and maintain improvement over a long period of time. Patient was treated with the Cosmion... Mask (usually 12 treatments - three times a week for one month). Some patients have one or two nonablative 1540nm laser treatments before applying the Cosmion Mask and then placed on maintenance treatment with M2 Products (MCK Labs), Laroche Posay Anthelios 60 Sun Block and a large hat. Some patients also use Obagi NuDerm Blender with 4% hydroquinone and Tretinoin for short periods of time. Patient has now maintained clearing on M2 for two to three years. more »
