Patient before and after one session of dermabrasion (9-month follow-up).

Patient with facial acne scarring who desired an improvement of facial scarring and pock markings. The patient underwent... wire-brush and diamond-fraise dermabrasion under local anesthesia in our office. Procedure duration was 45-minutes. Dermabrasion was recommended over laser treatment in order to minimize the risk of hypopigmentation and to achieve the maximal improvement possible in a one-time procedure. more »
