Background: This San Francisco woman had received an upper lid blepharoplasty surgery several years earlier. Unfortunately,... she had excessive fat removed and developed a post-operative complication of a skeletonized appearance. She was very discouraged because her eyes looked too arched and she didn’t look like herself anymore. She approached our office about the possibility of treating this problem with injectable fillers. Procedure: Artefill dermafiller to orbital rim Follow Up: We are pleased with the result. The eyes have regained their youthful fullness. She feels much better about her appearance. While 50% of the artefill placed will be permanent, 50% will dissolve and so we are planning on repeating this procedure a couple of times to achieve a permanent result. more »
