Profile

This patient had two prior rhinoplasty procedures but she was still unhappy with the amorphous, large appearance of her nose.... She recognized that her chin was small as well and was also interested in removing the mole from her right chin. I performed a revision open rhinoplasty to refine her tip. This involved treating the patient's pollybeak deformity and creating a natural supratip break. I also improved the patient's hanging columella/prominent infratip lobule. To address the patient's thick skin I actually increased her tip projection slightly which leads to a less amorphous appearance to her tip. I also placed a silicone chin implant to provide better balance to her face in addition to removing the right chin mole. more »
