This 66 Year Old women lost 60-70 pounds, and was concerned about the excess skin appearance in her upper arms. Due to significant changes in weight this can cause sagging of the underlying tissues that have lost elasticity and pockets of localized excess fat. An arm lift, or brachioplasty, surgically reshapes the upper arm by reducing excess skin and fat and tightening the underlying supportive tissue. Incisions are generally placed in the inside of the upper arm and may extend from the underarm to just above the elbow.
