A young woman presented at our office complaining of dark teeth. She had bleached her teeth numerous times but desired even lighter teeth with frequent bleaching sessions. After reviewing her options patient opted to have her upper and lower teeth veneered. Porcelain Veneers are most easily described as very thin porcelain shells that cover the front/facade of teeth. Like fake finger nails they are affixed to the front of teeth to change, shape, color and size. Minimal tooth reduction is generally required and dramatic results can be achieved fairly quickly. If only porcelain veneers are used a new smile can generally be completed within just a couple of weeks.
