this is a young Asian woman who had a rhinoplasty a number of years ago which resulted in shortening of the nose and a somewhat unnatural look. I'm proof this with augmentation of the nasal dorsal and lengthening of the nose through cartilage grafts to the columella and nasal tip. This was done under local anesthesia in the cartilage graft was taken from one of her ears. This is a great example of Asian rhinoplasty as it uses cartilage grafting from the ears. This is often a necessity particularly in Southeast Asian patients because the strength of the cartilage present in the nose is very poor.
