The rise and fall of Beverly Hills plastic surgery

The Fort Wayne Journal Gazette about a relates a story about Goldy Anthony, a Beverly Hills, California resident. She and her friends went religiously to have a little bit of "touchup": Botox, Juvederm, you name it. They never blinked at the costly price tag, and life was pretty darn good.

Then came the sub-prime mortgage market crunch which sent Goldy and her friends into a mini-recession. These "touchups", while fun and personally fulfilling, were definitely not medically necessary, and when money is tight, elective treatments tend to get prioritized below eating and utility bills.
