NCL adds Botox and Restylane to cruises
Real Beauty News on Jun 2, 2008

Norwegian Cruise Line is known for adding unique amenities to their ships, like the Norwegian Gem's four-lane, mood-lit bowling alley.

Now NCL is offering anti-wrinkle injections aboard the Norwegian Dawn, Norwegian Gem and Norwegian Spirit.  NCL claims to be the first cruiseline to offer medispa treatments.

The Mandara medi-spa aboard NCL's ships are operated by Dr. Brad Herman, a Miami plastic surgeon. The spa plans to offer cruisers injections of Restylane, Perlane, and Botox, as well as other noninvasive services such as the cellulite treatment Ionthermie.

With Cunard cruiseline offering services from the famous Canyon Ranch, the move into cosmetic injections was inevitable.  But where will cruise companies draw the line between what's safe at sea and what's not?  Facelift surgery?  What about Smart lipo treatments?
