Mesotherapy isn't going away any time soon. Miami mesotherapy specialist Dr. Lionel Bissoon, who also has offices in New York and Beverly Hills, is known for introducing Mesotherapy to the United States. Dr. Bissoon appeared this morning on South Florida Today to remind Miami viewers that 90% of women have cellulite, and that there are options for treating cellulite.

Dr. Bissoon says that between age 25-35 as estrogen levels drop, cellulite begins to appear. What's the cure? According to Dr. Bissoon, it's Mesotherapy, where a fat dissolving solution is injected to break down the fat, increase circulation, and repair damaged collagen. For deep dimples, subcision or scar release is used to immediately release the dimple.

About the panties... Dr. Bissoon expanded in great detail about the panties issue on Rachael Ray last year, suggesting that women just go without before explaining that it's the elastic he wants women to avoid.

The Palm Beach Post called Dr. Bissoon “The King of Meso” and according to his online media kit, he's appeared in an impressive number media sources, including CBS' 48 Hours, ABC's 20/20, NY1, WB11, CBS Miami, Fox News, Allure, Elle, Harper's Bazaar, W. Palm Beach Post, In Touch, New York Magazine, People, US News & World Report, Vogue, Essence, The Washington Post, L.A. Times, and The New York Times.

Since the introduction of the treatment, there has been an ongoing discussion about the differences between lipodissolve and mesotherapy, and the safety of each. Neither treatment has been FDA approved or standardized by the aesthetic medical community.

Dr. Bissoon's book, The Cellulite Cure, is currently out of stock on Amazon.com.
