Latisse may cause hair to grow anywhere

Latisse may cause hair to grow anywhere

ABC 13 in Houston, Texas reports that Latisse, while working as expected for eyelash lengthening, caused unwanted hair to grow on the face for one woman who didn't wipe off the excess solution after application.

Other reported Latisse side effects include darkening of eyelid skin and a transformation of the eye color.  Houston ophthalmologist, Dr. Linda Pope, tells ABC that "a hazel-colored eye will turn dark brown, and it's not reversible" should Latisse enter the eye. The medical experts posting on RealSelf.com point out that there is no clinical evidence suggesting Latisse has systemic side effects such as vision damage.

Dr. Pope's findings were based upon Latisse's more potent sister drug, Lumigan, to regrow her own lashes long before Latisse came out. Lumigan is meant strictly for the treatment of glaucoma. Readers on RealSelf.com have described using Lumigan vs. Latisse with favorable results.

Houston facial plastic surgeon Dr. Etai Funk says the length of eyelashes can increase by 25% and be 105% thicker after just 4 months of use.  However, experts point out that Latisse results are not permanent, and longer eyelashes require continual application of the Latisse solution.

Latisse's sister drug, Lumigan, is NOT "more potent". in fact, the ingredients and strengths are identical in every way. Please correct your error, so not to mislead the readers!
