Could Evolence Last Longer?
A Dallas plastic surgeon recently appeared in an NBC news segment investigating the new collagen-based filler Evolence. The reporter actually quotes the Juvederm campaign (a competing product) when she says in the story that "parentheses don't belong on her face."
Evolence, approved by the FDA earlier this year, is the doctor's chosen method of erasing those "smile lines," the nasolabial folds.
According to Dr. Rohrich, Evolence "stimulates the natural collagen" and the product is replaced over the course of 6-9 months. He says the collagen, which is sourced from real pigs, "looks just like type 1 collagen of humans."
Dr. Rohrich fills Tonya's nasolabial folds immediately and within 20 minutes, her wrinkles are gone and she is free to go about her routine.
