Beverly Hills Dermatologist Talks Botox, Pearl Laser, and Advertising in September Issue of W Magazine

Beverly Hills dermatologist to the stars Dr. Peter Kopelson tells W magazine what it takes to be successful in the most competitive market on earth. Kopelson recently allied with fellow California dermatologist Dr. Sheri G. Feldman, a former associate of celebrity dermatologist Arnold W. Klein, and together, the pair hope to cash in on the booming Hollywood aesthetics industry.
Well known to those in the aesthetics industry as the "Founding Father of Modern Cosmetic Dermatology," Dr. Klein pioneered the use of Botox and dermal fillers and has since garnered recognition for his outspoken positions on patient safety. Dr. Klein is also well known to the public for being Michael Jackson's dermatologist. In fact, Dr. Klein has been a good friend to the media and recognized early in his career that free publicity has much more power than advertising.
W writer Christine Lennon points out that the dermatologists who put themselves out there for good press are the ones who succeed, also citing Santa Monica dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban's appearances on Extreme Makeover and Extra, and Dr. Rebecca Giles' super-glamorous Malibu dermatology practice FIX.
Dr. Feldman likes to call herself the "poster child for Botox" and says she's about to be the "poster child for the Pearl," an ablative resurfacing laser made by Cutera. Dr. Kopelson estimates 75% of their cosmetic dermatology patients have Botox now, and it's evident that he believes strongly in the capabilities of lasers as the future of dermatology.

I take my teaspoon of tonic every day to look and feel younger. Post-surgery patients might want to have a look to support anti-aging on the inside also.
