I have had many laser treatments along with other procedures like Kybella and Morpheus 8 to reduce volume under my chin and to tighten the lax skin. After menopause, the elastin in my skin has gone downhill. I finally elected to have a lower facelift and neck lift with chin lipo to resolve the dangly loose skin under my chin. One year later the skin looks puckered or pleated. It's worse in the morning and only looks less prominent if I moisturize. Why does it look like this and what can I do?
I had a brow, face and neck lift six months ago, and I am unhappy with the bulges under my neck, and the fact that I still have jowls. There is definite improvement, but I dont know if I should ask for a revision or if this is normal.
I am 51 years old and a deep plane face and neck lift in 03/23. I had significant neck laxity and jowling due to massive weight loss. The turkey neck is gone, but Ive been left with a mess on my neck. My surgeon claims it can be fixed with Forma and coolPeel. I went for a 2nd opinion and the surgeon said there were discrepancies in the operative report and he was reluctant to do any revision for fear of nerve damage. What can I do to fix this? And is it cobra neck?
Help! I recently had revision Platysmaplasty. The 1st procedure helped with sagging skin, but still had very prominent bands appear. Im less than 6 months post-op and band just appeared. Hard area to treat, but can anything else be done aside from Botox? Or is this more about the surgeon? Any suggestions and or questions to ask current surgeon appreciated!
My double board certified, celebrity doctor botched my neck twice, and around 5 months post op began cancelling appts. He canceled 4 total (I didnt cancel any) and rescheduled me for 1.5 months later despite me saying I needed to see him. His medical team didnt respond or confirm receipt of emails. Then when I politely said Id have to file a complaint if he kept ghosting, he discharged me from practice. How was I supposed to handle? Im scared other doctors will think Im the problem.
I had facelift and neck lift done in august 2021. I had revision done on two seprate occasions to address more severe crease and to have vertical bands tied. I still have a crease on left side only and loose skin under neck chin. Can this be improved?
I feel my surgeon overtightened my neck lift in the center and laterally, especially on right side. I have severe tightness with choking feeling 11 mo post op and wonder if the platysma muscle was fixated to deep cervical fascia. After discussing multiple times with my double board certified PS, I have been told surgery was fine and not causing my symptoms. I disagree. Can the platysma muscle be released- cut to separate the front and release the sides? Any PS have experience w/this revision?
Im 66 years old, 1 year post op, I had midline platysmaplasty. At 3 months, (all pictures attached) I went back asking if we could do a revision. They suggested fraxel lasers and to come back for year consult. I have done 3 of the laser treatments, and went back for year end consultation. Surgeon said nothing more he can do, possibly revision in the future but not now.
