I had my neck lift almost 2 years ago, and I am not happy with my results. My neck still has wrinkles, but the worst part is the dip at the top of my neck. Can anything be done to correct this? I would love advice on what I should do. Thank you.
I had neck lipo performed because the doctor told me it would get rid of the sagging skin around my neck. I did't even know what the doctor was going to be doing, I just trusted him since he did a good job on my rhinoplasty. Well two years later after the surgery, I am now 20 lbs lighter, but the result is that my platysma muscles are pertruding out of my neck. I can't eat out without people staring at me. Can this be fixed? Is there some kind of procedure that can help?
38 yo female 2 years post op chin lipo. Since the lipo, Ive had this loose skin (possibly loose platysmal banding) under my chin. I am so ashamed to see photos of myself bc I feel it makes me look so much older than I am. Would I be a good candidate for a lower facelift or neck lift? I have already tried the Botox method that did not help.
I had a neck lift 2 years ago. My wounds never drained properly. My surgeon ignored me when I complained of remaining stitches in my ear. I went to another surgeon who told me that I had mistaken my salivary glands for swelling. 2 years later the stitch has moved down into my neck. I thought I had a pimple but, when I squeezed blood came gushing out of my neck. I know it was from that stitch that never dissolved. Nobody will help me!
Hello, I had a platysmaplasty around 2 years ago and I have been having issues with shortness of breath and unusual heartbeats since then. I had check ups with a pulmologist and a cardiologist and both say everything seems fine, however I still feel this permanent shortness of breath and fatigue even when sitting down or laying in bed. Could the platysmaplasty that I had be the cause of this? and if so how? Thank you for your time.
I had a lower facelift done 15 months ago. 8 months after the surgery I noticed that my platysmal bands are becoming visible again. I discussed this with my surgeon, he suggested Dysport treatment. It is only temporary and barely lasts 3 months. Also spending $300 every 3 months on injectables gets expensive. Should I ask the doctor to do the revision platysmaplasty? Should this be covered under the original facelift cost? I am unsure if there is any warranty when it comes to facelift surgery.
I am only 41, and I had a neck lift 2 1/2 years ago. I have a lot of sun damage and both parents have droopy necks. I was not satisfied with the initial results, but my doctor said nothing else could be done. Now it is sagging again and looks even worse. I am super self conscious about it because it makes me look do much older than I am. Can anything be done to help this? Please?
It's been almost two years since my face/neck lift and I still feel like I'm being strangled. Can you please say what can be done to stop it? Is it possible to reverse a neck lift? The help is greatly appreciated.
2 years plus after a liposuction necklift, and an infection under my chin in the incision and repair of same, I am suddenly developing these verticle bands that are very visible. What can I do. The surgeon seems reluctant to do anything.
