I'm six weeks out from a mommy makeover (that includes Lipo 360/BBL) with a doctor who doesn't use garments/fajas or lymphatic massages for the first week post op. Why do some doctors require these asap, and others don't? Thank you!
Hello Im 6 weeks post opt from my mommy makeover and I never had a lymphatic massage as of yet. However I went to the doctor on Tuesday to check my progress which is going great but he said that where he did lipo is hard and start these massages at least once a week. Is that enough and is this something I cAn do myself? And even tho Im 6 weeks post opt and my stomach is kind of hard its not to late to soften up if I start these massage now ?
I had my surgery with an out of town doctor so cant go back to office. Im about 6 weeks post-op and end of tummy tuck incision has a very small clear suture knot hanging out with like bunny ears poking up. Doesnt hurt but looks a tiny bit irritated with a very small divet around it. Can I carefully clip these so they go under skin? Have also noticed a small knot around my areola.
I am very discouraged because I do love the shape he gave me but my tummy and belly button are not the best. I have loose skin and fat and my belly button has a strong smell every other day. Why is my tummy divided like this..? Is it inflammation..? I also have some itching all over my body that comes and goes does it have anything to do with my surgery.. Did I ruin my results in any way..? Weight before surgery was 169.8lbs current weight is 143.6lbs.. 52... 25yrs old
It's been 6 wks since my mm. It's been 2 wks that I've been having leaking from my navel (& looks like a tiny opening upper left corner) . Went to PS last week and took a culture which came back with 3 bacterias including staph, ecoli. Had a u/s that showed a 3mm seroma build-up. I have been given Keflex (4 day) cipro (2 day) and oxycodene * for pain is 7/10. PS said it's a seroma but can be a suture that is infected and needs to be cleaned out? What other imaging would I have to do to know this?
While I feel completely physically capable of it, I find myself afraid to move freely or exercise too vigorously. (ie zumba) I'm afraid I will ruin my internal stitches and my wonderfully flat stomach and lifted breasts and end up dumpish looking again. Is this irrational? Is it possible? I've had an ideal recovery with zero complications.
I am six weeks post-op and used to do push-ups regularly. I love the definition in my arms from them. I have been cleared for exercise, but tried a push-up today. I had the strength, and felt fine on my way down. However, on my way up, it felt like the implants were moving out to my sides in a very strange way, also I felt pain in my nipples. Yikes! I was soo disappointed! Now, I'm afraid to try again in the future! Will there be a time when I could try again and this won't happen?
I got a Benilli BL with 600 cc's saline under muscle implants and a full TT 6 weeks ago. I develop necrosis 3 weeks after my TT in the incision line above my praviate area and belly button. I am currently done with treating the wound and it has since closed up. I am over all satisfied with my tummy scar and breast implants. I would like to know if I am eligible for a re-vision on my TT due to the loose skin and my my breast areolas stretching to 7cm. Any information would be appreciated.
