I had a 7mm x 7mm mole removed almost 4 weeks ago. I've been putting Vaseline or Neosporin on it and have kept it covered the entire time. It still hasn't started to scab and will get tender and a little gunky if I forget to change the bandage for one day. The air seems to irritate it If I leave it uncovered for more than a minute. Is this normal?
My moles seem to have skin over top of them already I've been washing my face 3 to 4 times a day and constantly putting neosporin and Vaseline on them. Can I wear liquid make up or concealer on them yet?
The doc just told me to keep a bandage on it for a couple day but today after I showered I bent over and it cracked open and started bleeding.. it stopped on its own but now should I put vaseline or Neosporin on it as well? Thank you
I used an over the counter mole/skin tag remover on a flat mole I had and a scab formed about 2-3 days later and fell off by itself maybe 2 weeks later. But for the past 4 weeks it looks red and Im not sure if its still healing. Been applying neospirin to it like recommended I do.
I had my mole removed about a month ago, and it seemed to be healing just fine. Within the last week, Ive developed a bump, with white inside it. It has not popped, I put neosporin. It seems as if the mole is growing back because now I have the same bump, except this time it is skin, and not an actual mole. What should I do? Will the mole grow back? Should I try to pop it or let it be?
The mole which was lanced off on Tuesday (3 days ago) was sent off for a biopsy. I was told to keep it bandaged up and apply Vaseline or petroleum jelly which I have. Attached is a picture. It is on my right arm above my elbow. It is the size of a nickel. I want to know if it is okay to use Neosporin in place of the petroleum jelly today because it is getting sore and it appears there may be a little infection in it due to the yellowness and redness.
Its also releasing green what I assume to be puss. Pretty sure its infected. Is this something i can take care of at home with alcohol and neosporn? Or do I need to take a trip to the doctor?
I had a cluster of 3 dark raised moles under my eyes and went to dermatologist to get them removed. I believe the Dr. used an electrocautery pen and I could smell the moles burn. It concerned me that I was left with black scars. I was told to not wet my face for 24 hrs and later apply Neosporin. Does this look right? Will the black scar fall out? I feel like I will be left with big scars since she didn't cut out the moles but just burned them. Please let me know what I can do?
