I want multiple moles removed off my body. Ive had local anesthesia to remove several moles before but the process is tedious since my dermatologist will only remove two per visit. At this point I would rather just be put under anesthesia and have all the moles I want removed at one time. Is there even a doctor willing to do this? Context I am 22 and have over 200 moles on my body.
Most plastic surgeons used lidocaine and I want to make sure I'm not allergic to it.I had a mole removed above my eye & the anaesthetic used was lidocaine. The next day my chest was very tight & I had a hard time breathing, which lasted for many hours. Is it possible it was a side effect from the lidocaine? Perhaps it was shot into a vein on my face and went to my heart? Would this indicate an allergic reaction? The interesting this is I've had lidocaine for dental work w/out this side effect.
I have a 1 cm mole near my mon pubis area due to be removed. Is it necessary to get a spinal anaesthetic for removal or a local anaestethic will do? The doctor says it may be painful with just a local anaesthetic and is giving me option to do a spinal one. But I'm thinking that's a lot of a risk just for a mole?
Hello, I recently had a mole removed from my upper arm. The doctor said the anesthetic would wear off after a couple hours, but 7.5 hours later, the site is still completely numb. Is this normal? If so, when can I expect feeling to return?
it is my birthmark on my forehead and i want it to get removed, i want to know will doctors give me anasthesia, or i have to go undergo the pain without anasthesia, how much time will the surgery require, and how many weeks it will take me to heal, will this mole leave a scar, am i supposed to eat medicines also after the surgery, will there be any kind of swelling after surgery?
I have had a mole on my eyelid eyelash area for maybe 10 years. I have noticed it is getting bigger. And I also recently grew two little new moles on the other eyelid also in the eyelash area. I have read about who to see and plan to get them removed and sent to a pathologist. My question is regarding the procedure.
I have mole on the inner breast cleavage area and need to have it removed. Is there any chance they will puncture or pop my breast implant by using a small needle to numb to area? I am very worried and don't want to take any chances of them doing this , but also afraid of having skin cancer?
I'm considering having a mole removed near my eye using the electrocautery method. The doctor informed me that since the mole is close to my eye, he will not use an anesthetic. Can someone tell me how painful this is likely to be? Thanks.
