I have always had pretty bad KP on my arms and Ive never really found a solution that works. I just bought a microdermabrasion machine for home use and I want to also do it on my arms to help with the KP but I also have a few tattoos on my arms that I dont want to do any damage to! I havent been able to find anything online about this.
I gotten a mild Jessner peel last year in January and ended up picking at it I think it got infected it was itchy for a whole year, I went to get a facial right after and the lady told me to use hydrocortisone cream.. I ended up using the whole tube for 2 weeks (packed it on) and didn't know you werent supposed too.. I got a microdermabrasion a few months after. Messed it up even more. The skin texture is just not improving I dont know whats going on with my forehead?! Has anyone seen this before?
Two days ago I got a microdermabrasion treatment done, and these thin reddish lines have yet to fade away. They have gotten better, but it seems like they may be getting darker. I did exercise within the 24 hour period. I also started peeling a little today, but that happened after my last treatment. Last time I got this done at the same place, and the red stripes did not occur. It was performed by a different aesthetician, however, and it hurt a little while she was performing the treatment.
2 days ago I had my first microdermabrasion done for my face, and after treatment my face was red till today (2days), i am worried that the redness will last for long, and whether it will keep permanent damage. Appreaciate your support.
Retin-a caused my skin to peel. My face is full of uneven skin layers. Also, the skin near my cheek bone looks dented and thin. My derm think I can continue using retin-a or get a laser treatment to even out the skin layers. I don't like either or those choices. Can microdermabrasion smooth out the uneven skin layers? Also, is the dent and thin skin caused by retin-a permanent? Someone out there, please help me! This is causing me a lot of anguish as I once had smooth skin before the retin-a.
I had a Microdermabrasion (Diamondtome) treatment yesterday, and the woman who performed it was really rough. Today, my skin is red and kind of puffy. I have had several treatments before and this has never happened. Now I'm concerned about the possibility of underlying damage to my skin. Should I be concerned?
