One side collects 30cc of fluid within 5-6 hours after aspiration. It has be aspirated 7 times but the last 3 times the fluid comes back at around 30cc with little reduction. It collects another 30cc within a few hours of aspiration. I am wearing my compression shirt 24/7 minus showers also wearing a compression wrap since the surgery. 19 days since surgery.
i use the compresion garment 1 month after surgery, then the doctor says i dont use it any more. when i stop using it i notice one nipple was puffier than the other and i thought this could be seroma, went to doctor and he told me it wasnt (i never get any seroma out after the surgery) told me that with time it will get better. with time i notice the other nipple was getting puffier too and when i press boves nipples it hurts and im now 6 months post op. what should i do for this to get better?
It's quite a bit. My pecks feel like waterbeds. How long will this continue? When the doctor pulls fluid out it looks great besides the fluid that settles on the side above the rib. But then it comes back slowly and I need to get it removed after another 2 weeks or so. He says it will all go away. eventually. I can hear fluid slosh around in there. It's crazy. Like I said it's been 3 months since I had it done.. He did remove 2lbs of tissue from each side.. I don't know if that matters or not.
I had male breast reduction 3 years ago, where the gland was removed on both sides along with liposuction, I some times have burniing like sensation on my right side of the chest, I don't know if I have accumulated seroma over the years or I have Laxed skin, please recommend a treatment. I also workout consistently and have a healthy diet, I have also kept my with consistent even prior to my surgery 3 years ago. Thank you
I had gynecomastia surgery 6 weeks ago. After the drains were removed, I developed a seroma on one side. It was drained 5x, until my surgeon couldn't drain any more. I now have swelling on that side. It was told it could also be scar tissue, and I should massage it to help it go away. I have been, but it's been a week since then, and the swelling doesn't seem to have changed at all. It's worse at night. Is this normal after a seroma? When will it go away? I'm concerned a pseudobursa developed.
I'm 15 days post op, type 1 gyno, excision and lipo. Overall happy, but a bit unsure about my left side. I wear a compression vest 24/7. Notably in the morning, a ~5cm area beneath and adjacent to my left nipple is more swollen and puffy than my right (which is flat). It feels very squishy, and tapping it, it jiggles/bounces a bit. During the day, the compression vest reduces this swelling almost totally, and it feels more like regular firmer swelling. Could it still be a seroma?
I had gynacomastia surgery in Nov 2015. Surgeon removed liquid from left breast twice after surgery but area became hard and painful. Sometimes I feel like Im dying of pain and cant move left arm and lose sensation from my fingers and left side of chest is really tender. I took a course of antibiotics a few weeks ago for a mouth infection and the pain went away for a week but then returned when antibiotics finished. Could this mean seroma is infected or developed into something else? Pls help
I had surgery 7-8 weeks ago , had hematoma then seroma on left side but it healed well , the right did not have any issue but suddenly this pinhole size wound opened under my nipple/areola line , it leaked white pus , then it leaked yellowish/red fluid , then i applied anti-biotics (fucidic acid and sometimes polyfax) and took Velosef antibiotics , but it doesnt seem to heal and still leaks a drop of blood or so. My surgeons out of country so cant go to him.
I got gyne surgery(excision + lipo) done 16 days before.Everything was going right till yesterday and all of a sudden i notice one nipple is slightly puffed due to some fluid under it.It is very minimal but can be differentiated from left one.I am out of town now as i study in different city.My doctor he told me that it will go away by itself.Iam worried as it happened overnight after these many days post surgery.I hope it becomes flat as left side.Please help me out!
I had microaire Lipo done for gynecomastia a little over three weeks ago. I am not satisfied with the results at all but that is beside the point for until revision surgery. The problem right now however is that I pain whenever I touch my left nipple but not my right one. Is it just swelling or could there be seroma ?
