I had a tethered scar from a gynecomastia surgery and I had my surgeon treat it by numbing the area and then using needles to untether it. It helped a bit and its still a bit better but Its mostly still tethered, Im assuming because of new scar tissue that is forming as a result of trying to unthether it. Id say its 40% better. Do you think I should just Keep getting it untethered until it gets better each time? Any other options of tips? Thanks! I do have pics if needed.
Over 10 years ago I had Gyno surgery. Afterwards I was left with a lump on the right side of my chest and I wasn't happy with how it looked compared to the left side. I went under the knife again 4 years ago to have the lump removed but another one formed. I've been trying to ignore it but it really bothers me. It feels numb and really uncomfortable, it's also visible. I don't want to go under the knife again ideally but don't know what to do, I need to get rid of it as it cons
Hello Doctors, 4 Weeks post surgery and the fluid build up beneath my left nipple hasn't reduced. My surgeon said there is no point in getting it removed since the body has to learn to remove it by itself. It will only be a short term fix getting it removed he said. I would love to get a second opinion on this because I read it can hinder recovery or turn into hard scar tissue. My left side is still almost completely numb and my right is perfectly fine by now (actually very sensitive).
I had liposuction for male breast reduction 3 months ago. I had liposuction for the treatment of gynecomastia, i had fat removed but no gland, 3 months later I still have a little bit of tenderness in the lower pectorial area, altought the pain feels superficial, that does not bother me as much as the loss of feeling in my nipple area (numbness). My sex life has been abit duller since, because when my girlfriend pinches my nipple(s) during foreplay it usually arouses me ;)... i am wondering if the sensation will ever return, or has the nerve been damaged?? is there any ointments or supplements i should have been taking during the post-op recovery time??? if anyone has any advice i would love to hear from you.......from Bra Boy
I had Gynecomastia surgery 4 days ago and my left arm has been extremely weak and numb since. The day after I was not able to use it at all but i regained sensation in most of my arm the 2nd day post op. However the condition has not improved since and i have numbness and weakness in my thumb, forearm and biceps. I am unable to hold objects in the affected arm. Is this normal? Thank you for your thoughts and opinions! (I am scheduled for a checkup in 2 days)
