One side collects 30cc of fluid within 5-6 hours after aspiration. It has be aspirated 7 times but the last 3 times the fluid comes back at around 30cc with little reduction. It collects another 30cc within a few hours of aspiration. I am wearing my compression shirt 24/7 minus showers also wearing a compression wrap since the surgery. 19 days since surgery.
Hi everyone,I wont see my surgeon for another 3 weeks - currently at 25 days post-op. Recovery has gone good so far but the compression garment I purchased online (one supplied from the surgeon wasnt tight enough) has become too tight to the point where it creates creases and folds in the nipple (was great for swelling when I had the bandages on as theyve come down a lot)Have switched to under armour vest which fixed the issue - is there a chance that swelling comes back after its subsided.
Hi! I had gynecomastia surgeryliposuction on my chest 3 weeks ago. And i was wondering how tight should the compression garment be and how long should i wear the compression garment? I felt that the garment i had was not giving be so much compression(became loose), so now i am using two compression vests' to get more tightness. Does extra tight compression give better final results and is it safe?
I seen my surgeon yesterday, and he told me to began tissue massage as the nipple retracted because it was very puffy prior to operation. He recommended vitamin e cream, or cocoa butter . How can I get the nipple creases to smooth out and connect with the rest of the nipple? Would tissue massage be better later then now as it may cause swelling? *i also put a lot of neosporin on them so the creases are much worse when its dry,
Had my gynecomastia surgery 22 days ago, surgery went well,,five days later noticed some yellow stuff and then there was discharge coming from it and a culture was taken and then it came up as a pseudomonas aeruginosa infection, treated it with ciprofloxacin for a 9 days now and there is still some discharge coming out. Took another culture test a few days ago and the reports show a methicillin resistant staphylococcus. What should I do? Please guide me by checking my pics
Hi doctors. Im only about 3 weeks post op so I understand my body is still healing and this is isnt the final result, but Ive had a dent on the side of my left pec since day 1 after surgery and it hasnt seemed to change at all. Does it look like oversuction or does it look like it the gap/dent will eventually fill in? Its quite noticeable, especially with arms raised. Really hoping I dont have to do another surgery to fix and worst case just could use some fat injections to fix.
3 weeks after my gynecomastia surgery, my left chest started to look normal, however my right chest under my nipple the area looks smashed inside, will this correct itself or will I need further treatment? And how long will it take for both nipples to rise up a little bit oz they look kind of sinking? And how long for the scars to stat fading? Thanks
3.5 weeks from day of surgery (glands removed). About 1-2 weeks ago I started to notice a sharp pain between my left nipple and bottom of the rib cage. It is tender to the touch and I notice a sharp pain when I raise my left arm. I'm very pleased with results (incisions are healing great) and recovery seems to be going well just curious as to what is going on being the discomfort isn't near the incision. Without touching the described area or moving my left arm I am experiencing no pain overall.
After three weeks, I am growing concerned with the results of my surgery. My left breast is healing abnormally. The nipple is curving inward, and the concave does not seem to be improving. I have reached out to my doctor with little answers. I need a second opinion. This is beginning to affect my mental health. I also still have a lot of laxity in my breast. Are surgeons supposed to tighten the skin too? Is the incision I received standard? What is the technical term for the incision?
