Hi! I had gynecomastia surgery/liposuction on my chest area a week ago. I was told by my doctor that i should not drink alcohol or smoke atleast two weeks post-surgery. I followed his instructions carefully but yesterday i was at my friends party, and unfortunatley i smoked one cigarette. I am very scared that this will affect my recovery and give me bad result of the surgery. i can not stop thinking about it.Is smoking one cigarette going ruin my recovery completly? i am very scared!
I had gynecomastia surgery and have two drains in my chest on dec 3rd. I desperately want the drains out. Currently the drains are collecting about 35-40 of fluid. The documentation I received from the surgeon said 30cc per 24hr period for 2 days. Is there any leeway in that number?
So I had gyno surgery last week. The first time the doctor only did lipo. So 5 weeks or so later he went in did a little more lipo and removed the gland. Now one nipple is completely flat and the other is flat but puffy in one spot. Bottom part of the nipple towards the inside of the chest. It also is folded from the puffiness. Is this normal?? He said it was swelling and causing the nipple retracting in. It's just odd how it's in one spot and not flat like the other. Is it left over tissue?
I got gynecosmastia surgery 9 days ago and my vest taken off 4 days ago. When that happened I saw that my left side was more swollen than the right, I noticed my surgeon observe that side without saying a word as it was probably too soon to comment on.Yesterday I made a poor decision and played basketball. My chest was immediately sore afterwards and the swelling increased significantly on the left side and my breast looks like it's about to pop. Will everything be alright?
Since puberty i had puffy nipples and very large areola size when i reached 19 i made a surgery bbut only gland removal and then after a week the nipples are still puffy and large areola size but with little protrusion and no lump under the nipple will i live all my life with my nipples extremly large in areola size with notice that the right nipple is more puffy and larger areola
So I had gynecomastia surgery a week and 2 days ago, and I am a vape. I saw my PS yesterday and everything is looking great, with my healing coming along perfectly. However I am a vaper and am wondering if it would be detrimental to my recovery if I were to start vaping again. I am very worried about blood flow to the nipples and understand that nicotine is a vasoconstrictor, but how risky is it to vape after a week and a day? Thanks.
