Hi, I am 29, with BMI of 27 and a waist of 34 inches. and looking to get liposuction. We are looking to get pregnant in 4 years or so. I am really unhappy with the shape of my stomach. If I get large area lipo on my stomach, and then have a C-section with more lipo or a tummy tuck down the road, is this safe? Thanks in advance. Does every surgery reduce blood supply to the area, thus increasing necrosis risk? Thanks!
Back in 2017 I had 2 rounds of lipo and BBL since the first BBL didn't take well. I developed a lump on the back of my right thigh and my right butt cheek is smaller than the left. Well my PCP scheduled me an ultrasound and it turned out to be a fat necrosis. The thing is, it's in a pocket of liquid not like a regular fat necrosis where it becomes hard. Liquid is just free floating in the pocket. So can I just get it lipo'd out or with like a syringe? Or does it have to be surgically removed?
1.5 months ago, I got my 2nd treatment for mesolipo. 2 weeks after, my arms start to itch and hurt. 1 month after treatment, more pain and bruising. Doctor did RF to soften the lumps and prescribed Augmentin but he seems unsure. My skin started peeling and sometimes I get sharp pains plus constant dull pain. Will it get infected and become an open wound? I would like to seek a second opinion from another doctor but I'm also not sure what kind of specialist would be most suitable for this.
18 days PO from liposuction, certified Dr. in the USA. Noticed 1 day PO, @ 1 week PO, Dr. expressed concerns. Sent photo 2 weeks PO & said thought the spot was from a garment that was too tight. I wasnt buying it and went to the ER. Follow up 2nd opinion was concerned with red & treated both. Whats your opinions? Do I have skin necrosis with a side of cellulitis? No burn. None smoker. Healthy. Young.
I am 6 months past ab lipo done by an OBGYN who Does lipo for years. For the last four months I have had hard lumps. Some came to the surface and exploded in infection. I just went to a PS who said that I need a tummy tuck to remove all the FAT NECROSIS that has developed from the lipo. Some of this necrosis is very painful when I lie on my stomach. The PS says these lumps are not lymph nodes and non cancerous, QUESTION Whos fault is this? Lipo was very aggressive, I need an answer ASAP! Thank you!
Hello I had liposuction three weeks ago. In Miami by a board certified surgeon. At first I was applying triple antibiotic ointment and changing the dressing. The smell was so bad......after researching I had a feeling it was necrosis. I have sickle cell disease, and never smoked. Today my doctor said it is in fact necrotic, and cut out a portion of the dead skin, told me to pack it 3x a day. My question is should I see a wound specialist. Any thing I can do to heal with minimal scarring?
I have fat necrosis in my leg upper thigh. I feel pain and burning sensation in my buttons area, specifically when I sit down? Why is this happening? Can liposuction kill me in having bad complications in life?
I had liposuction 30 days ago and have since noticed a hard bulge developing in the center of my abdomen. It is approximately 3 inches in diameter and is much harder than the other abdominal tissue surrounding it. My surgeon, who is out of state, said it is a possible necrosis. What is the best way to treat this? Massage, steroid injections, excision? Is there a surgeon in Las Vegas skilled in treating this form of post op issue? The goal is to completely rid this lump.
I had a liposuction two months ago and I had a few complications - too much bruising and necrosis. All my pre op exams had normal results, and I am not a smoker. My doctor says in years of experience she has never seen a reaction like this. The necrosed area is healing but I still have some remaining bruises. Will the brownish colour bruising fade away?
