I had lipo April 2022, my scars are still hyperpigmented and Ive noticed a couple of them are indented in. What are my options at this point? These indentations are horrible and Im really self conscious about them
4 days post op abdominal liposuction. Some incisions appeared to be a dented hole, some appeared to be raw skin openings. There is slight drainage. I've been putting Neosporin on them hoping to prevent scar from forming. What else can I do to help the healing to prevent scars from even trying to form? At what point I can start using the scar silicone strips?
I am in my late 40s that had arm lipo in 2018 and there is deformity on tricep area and fat bulge on elbow . I had a consult and the Plastic surgeon said the elbow part is risky due to it may not heal due to the area of concern. Thank you
12 days post op. woke up post op with a garment on and padding (like bed wetting paper) 1 flat across back and 1 big pad in front rolled up but was flat. I wasnt told what this was for & when/if to remove it. Over the week the chunky padding moved around mons where I used the toilet etc. I finally emailed clinic- was told it was just for weeping & safe to remove. I now have big indent where it was. Is this forever?
One year ago I had 220 cc I believe it was, of fat removed from my abdomin for fat transfer. At first my stomach was very uneven and I had some creases above my belly button that my surgeon popped out about 8 mntha after my lipo was performed.My stomach is left uneven and theres a bad looking indentation just below my belly button you can really see from the side. Is there anything I can do to fix this?What would cause this to happen?My PS is a long drive away so hoping to get some help here
My concern is my healing. I understand everyone is different and bodies heal at their own pace. Im vegetarian and while I thought I was getting enough protein and iron turns out not enough because my iron is really low! I wear my faja 24/7, I have to wear an ab board round the clock too which hurts my skin. I get lymphatic massages. I also have a small line/indent above my belly button doesnt go away. What can I do?
I had cortisone shots for irregular swelling after liposuction. 2 months later and I have huge, discolored indentations on my stomach and thigh. Does anyone have any advice on what to do?
My knees are very droopy with large indentations. It has been suggested that I get liposuction on the medial knees and fat grafting in the indentations. Will this work? Im concerned about it looking worse, or there being a long recovery time. I dont see any leg/ knee photos for fat grafting- mostly face. I have seen multiple plastic surgeons about my legs over the past 7 years. Ive had VelaShape II and Thermage - neither were very effective. Thank you for your advice!
I recently had a little lipo to one of my thighs, as an adjuct to a bigger proceedure. Before surgery my PS drew a little target area on my thigh to harvest. After surgery, i had bruising in a adjacent area (just a bit higher up the thigh), but no tenderness or bruising in the target area. I'm worried, because it now appears i have an indentation in the bruised spot, but seemingly no change in the target area (I think). Is this a bad sign? Do lipo areas sometimes NOT bruise? Two weeks postop.
