I am having a tummy tuck done in a couple of months and was told i do not need any liposuction of my flanks as i don't have enough fat to make a noticeable difference. My consult was done via video conference so my surgeon has not seen me in person. I am scared to lose my shape and end up looking like a box. Would flank lipo be recommended by others?
Let me preface by saying I KNOW we aren't supposed to step on a scale after Lipo (and yes I know Lipo isn't a weight loss tool) but I'm not the first or last that decided to step on a scale the next day and now I'm baffled.... so thought maybe someone could chime in! I had lipo on flanks and inner/outer thighs and we removed seven pounds of fat. I was surprised to see that I weighed ELEVEN POUNDS MORE the next day! I know we retain fluid and there's tons of swelling but WTH!
I have been told by a surgeon that just lipo to flanks and saddlebags will give me an hourglass finish but I fear I need fat transfer too? If so, how likely for my indents will I need more than one fat harvest as Im on a tight budget! Thank you in advance
This obviously sounds like a strange question probably never asked, but I would like to gain back some fat after liposuction, as Ive always know myself as curvy, and thin does not suit my morphology, genetics and mindset. I would like to understand how to gain back body fat in the stomach and flanks, after they were liposuctioned as this is where my body has always have it the most? What would the best hypercaloric plans, rice and pasta? And how long after Lipo would it be ok to start?
Im a fitness enthusiast and overall have a very toned physique (abs and muscles are visible). The only area that I struggle with are my flanks/ hips and back where I feel that I retain fat. Is liposuction a suitable procedure for me? Would it give me a more toned look and smaller waistline? Thank you!
I have pins and needles years after liposuction to the flanks and inner and outer thighs. Will this ever go away? It seems to be exacerbated when sleeping or after exercising. I'm not sure if these are now trapped nerves. I experience this in both legs.
