53 y/o male, 6'1, 300 lbs. non-smoker on disability for back injury (L1-L5 - 2 bulging, 3 herniated). Other med problems - Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm w/o rupture, Asthma, Sleep Apnea. Doctors say abdomen is causing pressure on my diaphragm adding to diff breathing and to back pain. Only exercise I get is walking through stores. I have lost 10 pounds in past 13 months. Will abdominal liposuction help with my breathing and help ease some of the back pain? If so can I get insurance to pay?
5 weeks post op from liposuction. My flanks and back still hurt. OTC (200mg Aleve + 500mg Tylenol + waterpills) take the edge off and makes my days bearable. But sometimes at night(and some days). The tightness an ridges are excruciating. I am literally cutting the codeine pills in half because I am about run out and no American Dr. will help with pain management because I went to to Dominican Republic and had surgery. Everyone just turns their nose up. I am in contact with my DR surgeon
I am 6 days post op wearing my faja with the foams, ab board and back board 23 hours of the day. I find that during the day my back doesn't hurt as much but in the night I wake up with some the discomfort of back pains. I thought it was the back board so I took out the back board and sleep with everything else on but the pain is still there. What should I do and is this normal? I read that the faja and back board helps correct slouched posture is that the reason I am feeling pains?
I am late 20s 5ft 5.5in, 238lbs. My breasts are really heavy. Wearing 40G and 42F bras. I have deep indents in my shoulders that make me look deformed. Back and shoulder pain constantly...waiting for insurance w/my new job and hoping to get approved for a reduction. I want to add lipo since I'll already be under anesthesia. I had lipo in 2014 by a doctor that wasn't a surgeon. I was very ill informed and regret it. My results were uneven and lumpy, but I was too scared to go back. Please advise!
I have Crohn's disease and it's been a battle...weight issues have becoming a frequent issue sending my chronic illness into flares. Finally I have been able to get my life back...but the fat folds have been causing me a lot of pain when I stand and sometimes when I sit making it unbearable. I know they don't consider cosmetic surgery but this is quite painful
Hi... I am three weeks post surgery. I had ultra sonic lipo on my lower back, love handles and saddle bags as well as BA. I have intense lower back pain at night. So severe that I have not slept in 3 weeks. All other areas are fine and during the day my back is okay. I have tried stilpain, stilnox, valium, trepiline, my proof, dormicum... with no relief... Please help. I can't take this much longer. How much longer can this go on?
i had lipo to my back and a tummy tuck done almost 3 mths ago. Ever since the lipo on my back I have been experiencing chronic back pain. My surgeon says this is very unusual. It's feels like my tissues/nerves have been damaged in some way. Whenever I move I get a spasm of pain. If I'm active it's not so bad, but the sec I rest ie sitting or sleeping and I move from one position to another I get a spasm of pain - it's like a heat/burning sensation. Any ideas what the cause is and what remedy.
I'm looking to have my buttocks reduced in size. I had my hips reduced through Smart Lipo but that doctor is reluctant to do the butt because of possible sagging. I only want the butt done nothing else to keep the cost as low as possible. This has caused me back problems and low self esteem. Pls give me a price quote. I live in NJ, female 33yrs
