Hello, I will be getting liposuction and skin excision to my arms and wanted to know if Im able to request IV anesthesia (TIVA) instead of gas inhalation. Gas makes me sick and theres a higher risk for urine retention as well as a longer recovery with gas. I did ask my surgeon and she said shell let it up to the anesthesiologist. Im nervous the anesthesiologist will say no. My recovery with IV anesthesia in the past has always been smooth, but gas was rough. Thank you!
I had an arm lift procedure done recently and the doctor performed little to no liposuction despite my arms being huge (over 17 inches) Im happy to have the loose skin gone but I still have lots of fat there and my arent werent shaped using lipo as I had hoped. My question is it possible to get liposuction now with skin tightening (Morpheus 8 & body tite) and not face as much risk with loose skin as the area isnt as loose anymore?
I'm a 24 year old female, 5'2 and 128 lbs looking into having chin and upper arm lipo for genetic stubborn fat. I'm wondering if these procedures are commonly performed together and if the recovery would be manageable (ex. being able to lift arms to adjust compression garment to face, etc.). Or if this would impair healing and if it's recommended that they are performed separately. Any advice will be appreciated, thank you!
Hi, Ive had microaire liposuction to my arms 7 months ago with j plasma. My arms were swollen and hard for weeks following the procedure however I felt that not all fat was removed and had a revisions surgery couple of days ago using Vaser but this time my arms are fully soft, there is no pain whatsoever and no swelling at all (measure exactly as they did pre op) is it possible that fat was removed ?
Hi! I have not gone sleeveless in probably a decade due to my self consciousness of my flabby arms. I have had enough of wearing sweatshirts/ long shirts in the heat and plan on liposuction soon for them. But, I am wondering if body tight would be needed or even an arm lift? Any advice appreciated! Thank you :)
Hello! I had a BR done almost 7 months ago, and with it i also did liposuction on my arms. I'm loving my BR results, but the lipo doesn't seem to have done anything. I don't even notice any sagging skin as maybe expected with no lift. It was traditional lipo, no lasers or lift. I'm wondering if results will still come in the next bit or if I should go back to my doctor. It's past the 6 month mark now so I'm not sure how it works if i went back to him.
A few doctors are saying different things, one doctor said a month, another said a week. The last time I stopped birth control my full body went into a hectic phase, my hair fell out, I got horrible acne, my mood was all over the place, and I had horrible cramps. What's the minimum amount of time I can stop birth control and aldactone to proceed with my surgery?
My desire is getting rid of batwings/arms that look harmonious with the rest of my body. Im generally thin: 34 y.o. female, 5'11 135 lbs. (BMI 19). I don't expect model arms (my broad shoulders won't allow it + I dislike skeletal look) but I expect smooth contours + not being left with loose skin due to lipo disproportionate to skin tightening/removal. If I can get away with lipo+bodytite, great, but I'm okay to do lipo+mini arm lift if bodytite result wd be suboptimal Thanks. See pics.
