Liposuction + 2 Weeks Post-op Q&A

I had Tumescent Liposuction on my back, stomach, arms and legs two weeks ago. I am VERY pleased with my legs, there is very little swelling and no pain. My back looks great also but is still a little numb. My lower abdomen however is really hard right in the middle (not all over, just in the middle) - it feels like a deck of cards inside. It isnt really sore anymore, but is big. I have synergy treatments twice a week which hopefully will help. Any idea what these cards are? Thank you!

I had liposuction to my flanks and abdominal area 12 days ago. The surgeon is insisting on a no carb (including complex carbs), high protein diet for 6 weeks. Is there any evidence for this?

If I knew the pain before I did my inner thighs liposuction. I can't walk properly, stand more then 15min and seating down. When I'm seating it difficult to get up. It so painful, sore, hard and I decided to take a walk omg after that I was on tears. What can I do?

12 days post op. woke up post op with a garment on and padding (like bed wetting paper) 1 flat across back and 1 big pad in front rolled up but was flat. I wasnt told what this was for & when/if to remove it. Over the week the chunky padding moved around mons where I used the toilet etc. I finally emailed clinic- was told it was just for weeping & safe to remove. I now have big indent where it was. Is this forever?

Hello, I had a bbl 2 weeks ago and now my lower back, lower abdominal area and flanks are hard as a brick. I have been in too much pain to wear the lumbar back board and lipo foams. Its to the point now that I have to double up on my pain pills to relieve the back pain especially on my spine. What should I do at this point? My boyfriend tried to massage it out but it didnt help. Its still brick hard like concrete. Please help thank you

Upper and lower abdomen liposuction 13 days ago. Result looks ok when laying down and in garment, but when taken off at sat up looks like no lipo was done and looks like I have a spare tire. Is this from not enough fat taken, swelling or excess skin and tummy tuck should have been done instead? I asked this specifically before surgery and was told I had good skin laxity and shouldnt worry. I have worn my garment religiously exactly as instructed. What can be done to remedy this?

Please help, I got lipo in 14 areas including my back, vagina and and upper stomach. Now they said its ok to wear a compression vest instead of full body. But I dont want a puffy vagina. Im two weeks out.. is it too late now? Theyre not the best at giving advice. 

I had liposuction two weeks ago and I was asked to wear my compression socks for 7-10 days post. Does that sound right? I am at risk for DVT.

I had Lipo on my abdomen 2 weeks ago and my belly button is draining a yellow, foul smelling discharge. My doctor is on vacation and will not be able to examine me for another week.

I got liposuction July 14th and was supposed to get my period a day or two after but it's been almost two weeks. I did local anesthesia and lipo to my lower and upper abdomen and flanks. Also there is no possible way I'm pregnant.
