I see a lot of posts talking about lymphatic massage after lipo. Im 10 days post op, after having the full 5 liters removed from lower/upper abdomen, waist and hips. My question is: is massage necessary to get the best final result? Or does it affect the result at all? Im still extremely tender and cant imagine massaging but would be willing to suck it up and do it if helps the ending result. Thanks!
I had surgery 10 days ago (lipo and bbl) I have two separate drain tubes one in my pelvic area and the other right above my butt crack .( intergluteal cleft) but the one on my butt crack is still dark red but my pelivuc tube is light red and some what yellow. Is this normal? Yes I know its not common after liposuction to have a drain but thats how my surgeon prefer to do it. The drain fills up less than 200ml in a 24 hour cycle. If i take the drain out too early can i remove it with a syringe?
I understand that you dont see results right away and that your belly will be hard, but right above my vagina, the very bottom of my stomach is like a rock hard shelf. Is this normal? I had 1 real drainage massage after my operation, and one lymphatic massage since and have another again tomorrow. Besides the massages, is there something I am doing wrong? I also had a BL with implant, wondering if sleeping 45/50 is impacting this area of stomach. Any suggestions?
Vaser lipo on knees calves and ankles. I'm 1 healing very quickly. pleased with contour of my legs and they feel slimmer. But my ankles are area which bothered me most and there's still that pad of fat at the outer ankle. I don't seem to have much swelling now just yellowy grey bruising. He did say 6 months for full results but I will be so disappointed if my ankles don't lose that bulk on the outer side and I will be in the same position of not showing my legs. Any advice greatly appreciated
I had lipo on my inner/outer thighs 9 days ago taking 1700ccs of fat. Im pear shaped, 57, and my presurgury wt was a muscular 142lbs (I can squat my body weight). Since then Ive had problems regulating my body temp. I feel cold all the time even when Im sweating. My temps were 96.9-97.5 over the last 2 days. Is this due to loss of fat and trauma from surgery? Ive never read about anyone having this experience. Is it common? Will it resolves over time?
I had inner thigh lipo done 1.5 weeks ago from a very reputable Board certified plastic surgeon in a hospital setting. I have scanning on only one leg that has gotten bigger. I have asked about this issue and the answer is it looks like an allergic reaction. Im reading all about things that look like this leading to skin necrosis - should I get a second opinion? Ideas? Had liposuction again on my abdomen by the same doctor a yr and a half later. He did a great job the first time but I wanted an even smaller waist. This time around I have been EXTREMELY swollen. Im 10days PO this time last time around I was already so tiny this time Im like a ballon! Bigger than what I was when I started.it was done under general anesthesia both times. Everything was done the same!
I had liposuction done under general anesthesia on my upper and lower abdomen as well as my flanks. The doctor took 1700 ccs which seemed really low. I am now 11 days post op and I look bigger than I went in still. Is this normal? I see pictures of girls two weeks after with big improvements and am worried my doctor messed up. I know she used the temescunt technique with closed incisions with a stitch. Thank you.
