I did liposuction in the lower abdominal part and Revision for pilonidal cyst scar! I just finished 4 weeks. My scar is long with closed incisions. Photo uploaded is after 2 weeks
So it's been a month since my liposuction, and my incisions had stitches which are out now and had scabs which are also mostly off. How do I take care of these scars of liposuction. Is there a scar cream to apply, if yes for how long?
32YO Male, underwent vaser neck liposuction approximately 4-5 weeks ago. To me, the results are extremely underwhelming (see pictures attached). My question is: looking at it, I think that only a bit has been taken out under the chin only, and very little if at all around the jawline and below, around the base of the neck. I wanted a more defined look, especially around the jawline. Keen to hear thoughts on this and how I should approach this moving forward?
I had arm lipo on 1/11, I am still hurting, swollen and hard.I haven't done anything for the last 2 days and this morning after church they were throbbing. I am unable to wear the compression sleeves, they were unbearable. I am worried about nerve damage. I've called my PS several times, no help. He said not to start massages until after 2/23. I can barely touch them now. I don't understand. Thoughts? I had a breast reduction on 9/11 and it was a breeze. Healed fast and love them. Took pain meds 2 days.
I am 4 weeks post op. I wear my post op binder at night, during the day at work I wear some kind of post-partum compression garment or Spanx at the very least. My surgeon hasnt been clear as to wether or not it is supposed to look like this 4 weeks out but has told me to start Endermologie. I know its still early but my question is if this is normal at this particular stage of post op or if this is potentially permanent. If this is normal, at what point does it start to smooth out?
I had lipo of the abdomen, flanks & back exactly 4 weeks ago. I was told not to massage it myself but just go for my weekly lymph drainage massage for 4 weeks. But I am still bumpy & uneven. I wear my bodysuit daily still and only take it off for showering. I am going to continue my weekly massages but will this go away? Is there anything else I can do? My doctor said just to to more massages but I am worried and want to be sure.
I got liposuction approximately 1 month ago to my outer thigh, inner thigh and banana roll but i have seen absolutely no change in shape or even in how my clothes fit. Additionally, the only difference is that my inner thigh on my right side had lumpy soft bulges. Why does it appear there is no difference in my appearance and my clothes still fit the same?
I had surgery 4 weeks ago. There are previous scars on my abdomen from other surgeries. The Doctor suggested I pull the skin up as I fasten my compression garment, but it slides back down and leaves deep creasing in the scars by the end of the day. Previous apendectomy, tumor with partial small intestine removal, and 2x pseudocyst removal 22-24 cm. Age 40
