Lipoma Removal + Pain Q&A

Im a 20 year old female. Ive had a dime sized lipoma on my left leg below my inguinal area on my upper thigh since I was 13. Never caused me any problems until recently when I woke up with it tender and swollen. Over 3 days it became painful, red, and the size of a 50 cent piece. Dermatologist diagnosed it as an angiolipoma and injected it with steroids to help with the pain and inflammation. I would like to have it removed, should I have the dermatologist remove it or go to another surgeon?

My worry now is if at all it has spread that far will surgery be still possible to remove this growth since it's becoming painful when I sit on the couch and I lean back to relax or when I spent more time studying

I had a pilonidal cyst back in 2018, that first showed 2 weeks before my period. It progressed so quickly, the next week i had to have it drained. After a month of dressing the wound it healed. A year and some change later, i returned to the doctors because the site would swell and become painful to the point that Id have to lay on my stomach. The determined that a lipoma had formed and removed it. within 2 weeks the scar healed. Now in 2022, it is extremely swollen and red. What can this be?

First lipoma in my back but now its all over in my body I am 28years I have 2 kids I got marry in 19 I have uncountable lipomas in my whole body I belong to simple and middle class family I showed my lipomas to some doctors they told me that lipomas is nothing serious disease but now I feel pain in my arms lipoma but the prblm is that I could not express my pain bz no. I wanna remove so what should I do? And Should I leave the exercise I mean I'm doing kinda body building so I think the lipoma preventing me from it, I'm not able to do proper work out, sometime it make pain, I'm not able to lift heavy weight and sometime it's increase too by work out I'm so worry, it feels like life in about to end

My doctor guess it was ganglion and come to find he said it was lipoma and no thing was not send in to the pathology it been 2 months since I had surgery and still painful and tingling and numbness and sore

I had a lipoma removal 6 weeks ago on my thigh. The incision has healed nicely. However a couple of weeks ago it started swelling and its hard and there is some bruising showing up on top of that. It is also very painful. What does this mean?

Is this type more common to be cancer? Also have degenerate arthritis in this knee.

I have had the blue lump for over 5 years. A week ago the lump started to swell and cause immense pain. Ive been told before it's a lipoma and one doctor also suggested it's a cyst but both said to leave it alone prior to last weeks pain. I started to take anti inflammatory pain killers which offered some relief. Two days ago the red lump has started to form, and both together are getting bigger and causing a lot of discomfort.
