I had lipomas across my body (varied sizes). a year back, i had an infection in the thigh lipoma (in inch dia) & got it operated. again there was fat accumulation in the same place and lipoma recurred. A month back again it got infected & i had another surgery in same place. a hole was left to drain the fluid/ collection. it had healed & was pressing it in perimeter to see if collection is there. I guess i pressed too hard and it got infected again. I am unable to understand the root cause.
On April 13th I had a lipoma removed from my back the stitches healed, about two weeks ago I noticed little hole where the scar is where they cut now I cant get them to close and white pus with little blood come out is this normal? are the stiches that they put inside are getting spit out of the cut?
Last week I had surgery to remove a lipoma on my upper thigh. For a week I had a draining tube in. A week later they removed it and said it will drain through the hole that the tube was in. Well now the hole has sealed up and the area i had surgery on Is swollen and all red and hurts when it's touched. Will it drain by itself and break through the hole?
I have a lipoma on my back, since 10 years ago. My PCP advised to leave it alone, but it has grown. I am interested in potential treatments or procedures to address this issue. I am not keen on surgery, especially if it's going to leave a gaping hole in my back, upon removal. I live in the metro Atlanta Gwinnett area.
i had a lupoma on my hip it really got irritated and become red and sensitive i went to the doctor and he said that my pans might have been too tight and about 2 days after i have seen the doctor it actually burst it looked like wet tissue paper that came out .....but now 2 months down the line i still have a brown hole on my hip that just wont go away .....what do i do now?? it really look nasty .please help me
