In the last three years the my filler dissolves within weeks. I have tried juvaderm, restylane, and rha. Since august I have had six syringes and its virtually gone after a month each time. I have tried different injectors. I am told based on my size I would not be a great candidate for a fat transfer so I'm considering a lip lift or lip lift with implants. What is the main reason more patients than not end up getting their implants removed? I find twice as many removal reviews.
Hi, I wanted fuller lips. Had implants. Surgeon had not done the procedure before. Bottom implant is too short has to come out. I have tingling, my lips are always very very dry. I can feel the implants. Will the tingling ever go away? Should I replace the bottom implant or just have removed? Will the recovery be worse with the replacement? Why are my lips so very dry now? Very unhappy and depressed. Help and advice please.
I'm considering Lip implants. My mouth is small to begin with, and my lips -- especially upper -- are thin. I'm 57, so they're thinning more with age. I have an opportunity to get this done with a reputable plastic surgeon for free. They're new. How reversible is it? Will I look okay for a business trip in a week? Should I just get permanent liner instead and accept my thin lips?
I had gore-tex implant put in my upper lip 6 years ago. I'd like to have it removed. Will most certified, reputable plastic surgeons be able to do this, or is it difficult to preform? Will I need general anesthesia? Any frame for the cost and recovery time?
Hi I had Permalip a long time ago in 2015 and I am considering removing the implants - they were both 5cm. The recovery of the implantation was not nice at all and far understated by most doctors. I had 2xboob jobs and rhino and nothing was worse than permalip. I had never had issues but wanting to change to fillers - i have also filler in the lips now. How long should i wait after removal to get filler and would it be same brutal swelling and recovery?
I had a SoftForm implant inserted about 13-14 years ago that I have never been happy with and have decided I would really like to have it removed. The trouble is that the surgeon who inserted it for me is now deceased and I can't find another surgeon who has removed one of these before. Is it difficult to take one of these out (due to tissue in-growth) and should I seek out a surgeon who has done this before, or am I safe going with a general, certified plastic surgeon?
I'm having my permalip implants removed next week after having them since 2014. I naturally have extremely thin lips and permalip implants have never given me the desired look. Also they are very asymmetrical. I will want lip fillers ASAP. I have been advised to wait until 6 weeks after removal before having fillers. Is this correct? Also I am SO nervous to have them removed as having them done was SO barbaric. Will it be painful having my permalip implants removed? Thanks!
