8 weeks later there is little difference in my neck line - Doctor said he can't do anything else for me because that is how my neck is shaped though at frist meeting, said I was a good candidate and woould see major improvement - I am so disappointed in the money I wasted for nothing.....
Dear Victim, You are not alone. I had to have mine redone, and you are right, it was nothing like a LSL. It took me a while to find the right doctor and he was excellent an repairing what had been done to me. Although, I wish I had KNOWN that the adverting that LSL uses belies and underplays the extent of the "SURGERY", I also wish I had gotten a 2nd opinion. before I had it done. Of course when I had it done, there was nothing bad on the interent at all about the LSL. Of course I did check out the Dr. and he had nothing bad listed on him, but today, there is plenty of information about the company and ANYONE considering this Surgery (it is not a procedure) should take the time to get a 2nd opinion. Just because you cannot find nothing bad about the doctor, does not mean that the lift will work nor be long lasting. I do hope that you will seek out help in getting a revision. I wish you the best, Chrystal.

These are the ones that we KNOW about. And you never hear anything about the people who undergo the surgery that almost die in the hospital. And about the research... how can you do research about LSL when so many of the sites about the company are put up by LSL themselves. Are we to trust what they tell us, buy from an informercial. Lets face it, LSL are target marketing folks in a specific age group, demographic and income bracket. Yes it is cheaper because it is done in a setting conducive to a factory line, procedure after procedure done the same on each and every person. The particular type of SMAS lift being performed was ousted by reputable surgeons in the late 60's and early 70's due to the fact that it only worked in a low percentage of patients. I do agree that every person considering a LSL SHOULD do extra research considering they only have one face! And always, no matter who you are considering for plastic surgery, get a 2nd opinion. Many private plastic surgeons also offer their own version of the lower face lift or facial rejuvenation and the prices are in line with the same pricing as LSL. Best, Chrystal Eckes
People have died after having surgery by board certified plastic surgeons too....remember Kanye West's mother?
I searched and searched and could not find any reference to anyone dying after LSL..
And EVERY surgeon will have you sign papers and they will tell you that the results you get may not be what you EXPECT...because they have no idea of your expections.
I think most of the negatives went in thinking it was going to be easy breezy, no pain, no post op problems, no post op down time....NO REALISTIC EXPECTIONS.
