I am considering using Latisse, but after getting ptosis from Botox, I am nervous. Im 68. Is there a way to measure or assess your eyes so you can tell if they are becoming sunken before it gets bad? Do they return to normal? Is this side effect more likely with older age or with any other characteristic, such as skin or eye coloring?
Hello. I'm a female of 25 years old and want longer eyelashes. One of the side effects of Lumigan(Latisse) is the sunken eyes. My eyes are naturally puffy and I thought I wouldn't mind loosing SOME fat around my eyes BUT I don't want to end up with sunken/hollow eyes! I know this happens to patients with glaucoma and use bimatoprost. I think it's worse for people that have sunken eyes naturally. Do the bimatoprost continue to shrink the fat cells until there is no fat at all around the eyes?
I love how long and thick my eyelashes are from using latisse but comparing before & after photos, leads me to believe that I have developed periorbital fat atrophy. I now have an unsightly triple eyelid crease, my eyes have sunken into the orbit and my eyelid looks droopy (ptosis). These changes outweigh the eyelash growth. Are there are any alternatives to latisse or is there a way to prevent PAP? I only use one drop, a thin eyeliner brush (applicators are too thick), and wipe off excess
