My eyes were red before lasik from giant papillary Conjuctivitus and now six weeks post lasik they seem worse. How soon is to safe to use a steroid drop to try and reduce the redness and other symptoms? Also will waiting too long make the red become permenant?
i'm regular with systane drops.though i got severe redness and itching in my both eyes.dr said it's due to dry eyes but prescribed inflammatory drops tobramycin for 5 days 4 times.i went to another dr she suggested that theirs eye inflammation & continue this drops.after using it 4 days in my right eye my cranucles are inflamed.whenever i install those drops it start stinging&burning sensation that i'm not able to close my eyes. what'll be the cause ? will it recover fast and does it reoccur?
80 hours day 3: I do not have blurred vision and redness of the eye. But just feeling abit weird or itchy like some nerve slight twitching on the right eye lid. Dunno it is cause by psychological anot. Can slight wrinkle or dislodge of the flap be happen even though I do not experience any blurred vision? Will it affect my healing and the eye power in the future?
Hello, i had LASIK surgeon before 10 days and I know that it is common to have startburst and halo effects etc. My left eye is little bit blurry so my doctor said it is because of healing process, while my right eye was great. Now, my right eye has redness in it and it looks like conjunctivitis. Will this affect on my eye or it can be healed without any side effect ? I'm still using Tobradex and eye drops. Thanks.
I am four days post-op from bladeless wavefront lasik surgery, and am returning today after a concerned appointment I made yesterday of cloudy vision, eye redness, and pain in one eye. I was told there was debris inside the flap and they need to reopen and wash out. Is this the same as DLK (Diffuse Lamellar Keratitus)? Also, will the recovery of this procedure be similar to the recovery of my initial procedure? It was quite painful for several hours, and I want to be mentally prepared.
I had Lasik a week ago. More than half of one eye and one fourth of the other is covered in deep redness. The doctor said this is a side effect of the suction cup. Is there anything I can do to make this go away sooner?? arnica, bromelein, hot/cold compresses? Thank you I am in a wedding in 2 weeks - I was never warned that I needed to have Lasik months in advance before a special event. I hope there is something I can do to dissolve the bruise.
I had my Lasik surgery 3 weeks ago... Sometimes my eyes goes really red... Yesterday I went to work ( I work with computer) and after work I realized that both my eyes were really red. However, I did not feel any thing... I am still using drops for dryness. Should I be concerned?
I had Lasik 4 weeks ago and my eyes are still kind of red.It is not red all the time but sometimes it is really red. It doesn’t hurt that much anymore. I do have bit dryness. I live in Toronto and it is very cold now. Like currently the weather is feels like -19, with 25 km wind and 79% humidity. Does this cause the redness of my eyes? I kind of feel like that my under eye might be a bit puffy than other days…I am still using Refresh tears and Refresh Ultra.
