Hello, I had my initial Lasik surgery 5 yrs ago. I recently had a Lasik Enhancement done in June, 2014. My surgeon didn't explain to me that he would be cutting my cornea until I was on the table! I have been dealing with blurred vision, headaches, light sensitivity, developed astigmatism, and also my Left eye is more nearsighted now. I am just miserable. They also tell me that I have cataracts, but since I am only 51 will not correct them yet. It is so hard to function!
I had lasik surgery plus cross linking done 25 days ago. OD: -12.00 OS: -11.00. After surgery results were: OD: 20/25. OS: 20/25. OU: 20/20. My concern now is I have dull pain behind my right eye. And I have a constant headache on my right side of the head. My right eye feels drier than my left. I also feel nauseous at times. I feel some discomfort on my right eye as well.
I have a dull headache in the back of my head since Lasik 6 weeks ago. I corrected for -8OS and -7.5OD. I had a flap lift 3 weeks in on my right eye and still have blurry vision in that eye. The headaches got worse after the flap lift. My corneal specialist says everything is healing fine. I haven't had stable vision yet so I hope once the right eye heals it will be better. Could this be refractive or neurological? I have no eye pain or discomfort, just the dull pain in the brain.
I also have headaches , pain in my right eye (the left is ,,lazy) I have hypermetropia and astigmatism, at age of 4 I had eye surgery on left eye, because of esotropia, since my teenager years it turned into exotropia, but it has never caused double vision before Lasik. Prisms doesn't work for me, my left eye moves inside and outside in response of different prisms, doctors say that it's difference between what helps me to see one image and what my eye actually needs. it there any cure?
I had LASIK 7 weeks ago for bad astigmatism. I went to a very experienced and reputable Doctor. My vision is worse now. Reading is a huge problem now which wasn't prior to surgery. I work as a RN injector and have to be able to see fine detail. Doctor wants to wait a whole year to correct! I'm getting terrible headaches which I assume are from eye strain. He won't give me a script for glasses because he says my vision might change. What do I do? I'm struggling to see at work, headaches, Help!!
Female-52-bx: LASIK '2011, PRK 6/14, Left cataract not yet ready for surgery. Increased myopia, blurred vision. Evaluated for vertigo-negative. Eye surgeon insists its not my eyes, but need another opinion. Very disabling- Gave me Timoptic 0.5 Eye drops and greatly reduced headache first time I used them but very irritating to eyes, also have dry eye but on Restasis. Also have astigmatism since PRK. 3 prescription changes in 6 months. Cannot discuss with Dr as he becomes irate and degrading.
I had LASIK (OD +3.25/-2.5x10 and OS +3.25/-3x152) and got a decent outcome (20/20 each eye but not crisp) Getting headaches from working on computer. It's been 2 years since the procedure and my optometrist has given me glasses OD pl/-0.75x34 and OS pl/-0.75x150. Wearing the glasses my vision is extra crisp and back to 20/15, which is what I had with glasses before LASIK. Should I get an enhancement?
i used to suffer with insomnia before lasik, i had lasik on 07/06/2014,unexpectadly i cried on the day i had surgeory due to a quarrel between me and my father.today its 23rd day after lasik.i suffered from headache and pain in my left eye for a week,after concerning my doc i got medication for that,at present i had no headache,but a sharp pain in my eye which gives me lot of sadness about my future,as i am supposed to join in a software company with in 20 days.what is this problem actually?is it a dry eye ?
I had lasik back in November 2022. I have had severe dry eyes since then. I went to the eye doctor because I was having sharp pains in the corners of my eyes (along with them being super itchy). Hthepast almost week I have been having what seems like cluster headaches which he thinks is also from allergies (its crazy allergy season here in Ohio). I have been so worried about this lasik from the day I got it I am so worried I have corneal neuralgia or something terrible. Or is this from stress?
