I have a ingrown hair that looks like a circle under the skin, I have had this for over a year it wont go. I also have some ingrown hairs on my bikini line that are just stuck under the skin and it looks like a scar, theres no way I can get the hairs out I cant even see the hairs so I dont know what to do, Im thinking of buying a Philips IPL Lumea hair removal system, would that help and would it be safe on those areas? Thank you.
I have been experiencing folliculitis around my buttocks region for over 15 years now. Ive tried every remedy I can find over the counter and even some prescription medications. Im at the point where Id like to rid of it for good, and stop feeling so self conscious when wearing a bathing suit. Would laser hair removal help with the folliculitis? What treatments would work best for the previous scarring caused by it?
I am hoping these burns will not cause scarring. The burns were quite extensive behind the back of my thighs. It has now been two weeks. I have been applying biafine up to three times daily. Please tell me this will help and will not cause scarring

I had my laser hair removal session less than 24 hrs back, noticed warm feeling after that and then redness which turned brown now. These marks are all over my bik line. Its not painful but but feels uncomfortable. I have had sessions before as well but never experience this. I am applying mebo ointment. Can you please help me with it, would these marks go? How long it will take to go? Any other ointment i can apply? I am not going for another sessions at that place for sure.
Hi there, I recently had laser hair removal on my lower legs. It left me burnt and blistered, I've also had to go on antibiotics via iv for, 5 days to kill an infection that it developed (cellulitis). It was the second treatment, the first one hurt but left no marks. This time round it was really painful. Will I be permanently scared? It was almost 3 weeks ago.
2 weeks ago, I had laser hair removal on my legs. The next day, I noticed burns on my legs. I'm concerned because they don't seem to get getting better. I visited my doctor and she prescribed Cicaplast but that too, doesn't seem to be helping. I'm honestly so devastated because I'm terrified my legs will be scarred. Would appreciate a prognosis / advice / etc immensely! Thank you in advance!
After 2 weeks of my first laser hair removal treatment I started to notice these red bumps on my legs. I have been using a loofah daily and use a scrub. How can I prevent these red bumps (that I assume are ingrown hairs) and get rid of it? Will it leave me with scars?
I was recently burned by Alexondrite laser when i should have received Yag laser. However, I have been keeping the scabs moist by applying silver sulfadiazine and aquaphor every 4 hours and a tefla dressing on top. Dermatologist advised me to soak the scabs in hydrogen peroxide so that they fall off and I am just worried if this is the best thing to do. Growing up olive skinned, picking scabs always caused them to scar dark. Please help, I don't want to cause more damage.
My neck beard hair grows in all directions and causes ingrown hair and painful red bumps after shaving. Will laser hair removal on neck area help? How many treatments will I need and will it cause any scarring or painful red spots after laser treatment ?
