I had my first ever laser hair removal a few days back for my legs and underarms. After 3 days I broke out in severe folliculitis. I got pus filled bumps all over my legs, but my underarms seem fine. I have never had folliculitis before. I am taking antibiotics since 4 days but it doesnt seem to be getting any better. Will it leave any permanent marks on my skin? Should i continue with the next laser sessions?
I recently got laser hair removal on my chin and neck area. This is my first session in years since I stopped doing the treatment. I never remember having had a reaction like this after laser hair removal on my face. I got it done yesterday and now today my chin and neck area are filled with white puss filled bumps that look like pimples, and I don't know what I should do. The doctor did switch to a more stronger laser than the last time. Also, my skin is very oily and sensitive .
I noticed what seemed to be a small pimple / bump in my bikini area before my first laser hair removal treatment with soprano alma laser. Its happened before but usually clears up. It's now 3 weeks since treatment and the bump appears a little bigger with puss. Do I go ahead with next treatment (in a week)? Should I treat it with something or attempt to pop it (is the latter even an option!). Please advise.
I recicently got my laser dont last Saturday and I havent had it dont for about 2 months now it did hurt a lot more then my last session and after a few day it was very painful and has some red spots all around it and some have puss in them. There are very painful and red and get itchy. There is little lumps and bits of puss under each hair follicle.
I sweat a lot in the region and experience a lot of hair growth. I experience excruciating pain from ingrown hairs and over the years it has compromised the health of my skin in the area. I have puss, nicks and bruising and the skin has become very dark. What can I do? I have done everything from exfoliate, drink/eat healthy, wear cotton underwear etc. I no longer shave/wax; I sugar. It's a minor, minor improvement as far as the number of ingrowns but the pain, bruising &darkness still exists.
