I have always had troubles with the skin in my groin and inner thighs that make the whole area look and feel unpleasant. I have been considering laser hair removal but I have an olive skin tone that varies. In particular, I have extensive patches of dark pigmentation from chafing. My genitalia is also darker. How would a doctor or nurse make adjustments for that variation? What questions should I ask to be sure that I will be treated safely? How might the laser affect the pigmentation?
I had my first laser session 6 days ago and I saw the hair grow back the next day. The laser used on myself is the Soprano ICE The hair is growing back like it used to when can I get roughly expect it to shed ?? I had my Laser Hair Removal 3 weeks ago, but my legs are now full with mix hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation.I am worried and want to ask what treatment should I use to make them fade in short time. How long would the scars normally disappear?
I am only 20 years old & I have facial hair which is my biggest problem.I really want to get rid of them but I am concerned if it will make my face look mature and I'll look older. I am fair so wanted to know if it's safe for my skintone and will not darken it with scars etc. Is it safe for whole face? PLEASE HELP!!!! :)
I did 2 full Brazilian laser hair removal treatments over 2 months. I've seen my dermatologist for the bumps/ingrown hairs and she said that they should go away in a few weeks. It's been a few weeks since then and it nothing has changed. I am a relatively dark skinned person so there are many pigmented spots on my pubic area due to the ingrown hairs. They are not painful but aren't they supposed to fall out? Will the small bumps (that no longer have the hair follicle) disappear as well?
I have been going to this clinic for 3 months now (3rd full leg treatment, 1st arm treatment)... and the tech was nice enough to offer to do my underarms. She has years of experience and I have never had this happen on my legs so far (and I am loving the results down there!) but today, she ended up burning my left underarm and told me to apply a triple AB cream and to sterily pop blisters. I have read against this on here and need advice! Presently unable to consult/afford dermatologist. Thanks!
I had laser hair removal on my upper lip a few years ago. About a month ago, the skin above my upper lip became darker, and now is tanned in the areas where I had the laser. I wear sunscreen everyday (100spf), but it is not fading. As you can imagine, it is quite embarrassing. What can I do?
I did laser hair removal for the bikini area in May 2011 and I got pigmentations. I have some dark spots and generally speaking the skin is a bit darker than before. I have an olive skin (type 4) and I didn't go back to the clinic to check with them. At the start it was more like a redness and I kept putting sudocrem on it then it was ok but I noticed new marks and a darker tone. I dont know what to use on it ? is it permanent ? its been months since I did my laser !
