I am a 25 year old female, light skin and brunette hair. I recently had 8 laser hair removal sessions 6 to 8 weeks apart using the ND: YAG Gentle Max Pro by Syneron Candela on the underarms, half leg and bikini. During the 8 treatments hair grew back slightly slower but no major difference and now I have finished the course it is like I never had it. I went to a popular experienced clinic and had blood tests confirming my hormones are normal. Why has it not worked at all? Thank you.
I have been having this done since 2003 and this was like my 20th plus treatment so I am not new to this procedure. The treatment felt more intense than usual but didn't think much about it until I saw the esthetician's reaction. She told me to apply alor vera gel which I have never been told before. When I saw my face I was horrified. I have tried aloe vera, hydrocortisone, Mederma. Nothing works and the scar is getting darker over time. It now looks like melasma. Please help me! Whay can I do?
I have a light skin and dark hair. I did many consultations and everyone said laser likes you and that I 'll see results in 4 sessions.I did 6 sessions of laser hair removal on full legs. The laser didn't work on the area around the knee ( knee included) and the upper leg As if I did nothing but on the lower leg there is improvement but there are patches of hair also
I am Caucasian, pretty fair skin tone. My hair is very dark and coarse. I do have a bit of red and blonde mixed in. But the majority is dark brown. I am a young male in my early 20's. I'm not on any medicine or have any health problems. I've had about 11 sessions on my face and neck. My skin reacts well to the laser as the hairs come out. It usually goes away for 3 weeks, but then grows back. What is wrong with me? Why is my hair still doing this? I believe the laser machine is called ACynosure?
I have very dark this hair and my skin is very white. I'm of middle eastern decent. I've been doing laser hair removal for a while (a few years) but the hair keeps growing back. I know its supposed to be permanent hair reduction but the results are not very good. I've switched to a local company because the last place I was getting laser hair removal done wasn't so good and they went out of business. Could there be an underlying medical problem?
I've dark hair on my face and am undergoing laser treatment. I've completed 10 sittings but the improvement isn't substantial cause of the fact that the hair growth ( colour being little lighter than before) still exists and since i am fair it is visible.am presently using soprano laser, since I'll be shifting to another place i may have to change my dermatologist. what precautions do i need to take when i go to a new dermatologist? also why is it taking longer time for the hair growth to reduce?
