I have had 2 session of laser hair removal and after the first I saw no issue. I had my second session halfway through May and only noticed a few red bumps on the top of my bikini area a week or 2 ago. They're not itchy and it's not sore. I do have sensitive skin and used to suffer really bad with dry skin. I also have hayfever. I just want to know if there's any cream or medication I may have to take to get it to clear up. Thank you .
The day of my Brazilian laser hair removal I left the office with dark marks all over the area that was treated. Its now been 10 days since treatment and they are still there! These are marks & not raised bumps. They have not faded at all. I also have extreme irritation and pain in my anus area which was also treated. So embarrassing lol but so painful! What could be causing that? Any treatment advice? My esthetician told me this was normal and would go away. I know this isn't a normal reaction.
Since, Ive had a red/pink irritation thats crazy itchy. irritation comes and goes. thought it was fungal infection at first. kinda looks like type of rash that people get between their fat folds. Ive tried keeping area very dry, no deodorant. have tried hydrocortisone, antifungal, and Benadryl cream. not all at once. nothing works to resolve just little relief. Some hyperpigmentation but not worried about that, itching is beyond miserable.
Every time I wax I get ingrown hairs and I pick at them a lot yesterday i managed to get a hair out but this morning i realized their was still another hair their and the bump is red and it looks irritated and I was wondering if it's okay to get laser hair removal on an ingrown hair that's irritated or should I wait?
I just had my first laser hair removal treatment done today on my jawline, chin, and upper neck. Am I allowed to use a toner that has mandelic acid in it? I'm aware you're supposed to discontinue the use of AHA products 7 days prior to the treatment, as it can cause irritation, but is it safe to use afterwards/in between treatments? Thanks!
I had my first laser hair removal treatment 2 days ago without much of a consultation. I was not informed that I should have shaved first, and therefore had a few days hair growth which was not removed, nor was I asked about medications I'm taking (I'm on amitriptyline) or anything else that might be a contraindication. I woke up today with 6-7 pustules over hair follicles which broke open easily and now have redness and irritation in those spots. Is this normal? Should I stop treatment?
I got a Brazilian laser hair removal on Friday. This is not my first time but the worst reaction I have ever had. That night without thinking I had intercourse and I believe the skin on skin contact has irritated it. I now have a patch of redness covered in ingrown hairs. Some are very raised and without any pressure I popped one (not on purpose). What should I do to tame this problem.
I have had six session of laser hair removal. Results were good. My last and final session was 5 and a half weeks ago. There is one hair o my chin that seemed to get lasered and stop growing. I assumed it would fall out naturally in a few days. But it never fell out. Now it is like an ingrown hair that just doesn't grow. I exfoliate every day and it's still stuck under my skin. The skin is not raised or irritated in any way. How do I get the stuck hair out??
