I get laser hair removal procedure on my face. But the practitioner started the procedure without putting any protective glasses on my eyes. I warned her and she told me as it was soprano ice, it was not necessary. I insist on and she put a big glass which is necessary when it comes to the procedure on legs etc. So the bottom of the glass was WIDE open. Also during the procedure my eyes were open. Is it possible that my eyes get damaged? How I can make sure? Thank you.
Yesterday I was carrying out my 5th laser hair treatment on my sideburns which seemed fine until later when I noticed blurred vision in my right eye and numbness between my eye socket and upper lip on that side. Is it possible that the laser damaged a nerve pathway? Will this likely heal or should I see a doctor? (I broke a bone in my eye socket 3 years ago and experienced slight numbness since then however this is defiantly worse and includes the blurred vision) Thanks for your help
I am in my late 30s; complexion is pale/caucasian. I have a small round telangiectasia / spider spot on the center of my cheek. It's been there for a year. It's an inch and a half below my eye -- directly on the apple of my cheek. I understand that some lasers could remove it. I have a Bella Flash laser hair remover. Could I use that to try to treat the spot? I am wondering if the Bella Flash's pulse/lightwave would be effective or not. Thanks.
Am worried about potential eye injuries especially that recently I ve been experiencing red eyes (maybe bcz of working on PC for many hours) and a feeling like a thunder or a lightening striking with laser shots around the eyes... Any answer regarding possible eye damage induced by laser hair bleaching using Q-switch Nd:YAG laser.
During my LHR procedure for underarms, the eyewear was not snug and there was a moment that I was looking at the walls and ceiling and then the eyewear covered my eyes again. Will this cause any eye damage? On the same day and the second, I do have minor headache on the right side but it wasn't consistent. Not sure if I'm over sensitive about this. What are the symptoms of eye damage caused by LHR? Not sure if the doc is using cutera coolglide or nd yag.
Was given opaque 'tanning goggles' that covered my eye sockets only (plastic, not metal), is that sufficient eye protection during IPL and diode laser treatment, including diode treatment around the temple area of the face? I was also given cotton balls underneath the goggles for more protection which seemed makeshift. I pushed the goggles tight against my eyes to be safe and squeezed eyes shut, but when treated at the temple area could see a lot of flashing lights anyway, is that okay?
