Hello! I am of Chinese descent with light coloured skin in the winter and olive ish skin in the summer with black medium length hair (not super coarse nor super fine). I'm interested in laser hair removal and I'm debating between 2 clinics in my area. One offers the gentle max pro and the other a diolaze laser and I'm not too sure which one would be best suited for me. Thank you!
I have had laser hair removal for 3 years with over 30 treatments. the hair has reduced and slowed down in growth but after three or four months it comes back albeit it is patchy. I have used different types of lasers including. I am South Asian and all my friends. who have gotten it works and never grew back again. I'm so frustrated.
I've has these red dots/spots on my legs and arms idk why i have them really, my parents don't have such skin concerns so i doubt its genetic, i've seen people who got rid of their strawberry legs through laser hair removal which made a drastic change visibly. I want to get it aswell but i just dont know for sure if it will work on or not, will it make my hair grow back either way? Being south asian i have hair on my whole body and im really insecure about it.
I have thick, black hair and I am interested in underarm laser hair removal. I also have darker underarm skin and PCOS - will any of the lasers help lighten the skin tone? If so, which one? Also, how much would it roughly be for all the treatments/sessions?
I have been doing laser hair removal on my face (Nd:yag). I am a south Asian female in my twenties. Lately I have noticed I get super chapped lips a couple of days after I get my face done. I am talking leathery dehydrated lips in the middle of summer. I am starting to suspect it is a side effect of when the laser operates on my upper lip. Is this a common side effect? Is it dangerous? Should I stop doing the treatment?
This was my fourth session but first time getting these negative results. Should I continue sessions but with a better provider or discontinue and treat the darkening skin? Or both? What treatments should I get? How likely am I to be able to fully and permanently recover the skin to its original color?
I have fair skin and most of the hairs on my body are fine and a brown colour and grow long, so I would like to know which laser will work best Diode OR Alexandrite. I am aware nd:Yag is not a good option for fine hair.
My 1st time lasering - underarms went fine, but my Brazilian resulted in dark purple patches and streaks of what looks like bruising? She said she would use a higher setting on me bc it was my very 1st time. I'm Asian with olive/tan skin, Type IV. There are other spots that look like burns & some of the streaking looks like scabbing the day after. The esthetician said lasering shouldn't bruise, but maybe the setting was too high? Please advise with any help so that I can prevent this next time!
I'm leaving the country for vacation. I have medium toned asian skin...very thick skin too. I did a light glycol peel and now have light flaking. There is not redness or sensitivity. Would it be okay to do laser hair removal 3-4 days after the back peel?
I am 25 years old asian guy, working in hospitality back from 3 years. Wrong thought to get rid of it all at once. Just did 2 secessions of hair removal at Australian hair removal clininc and then stopped. All face is patchy now and looks wierd obvious, would there is anything help my beard grow back on those spots. It use to be pretty dense. Any positive answer would be so appreciated. Thanks
