I'm early 40's and have acne scars from cystic acne I had in my teens. I've had several procedures including subcision, micro needling, chemical peels, and non ablative laser (x4). I just want want to feel better about myself and less ashamed. I've booked in to speak to a plastic surgeon about Juvederm for my scaring on my chin and marionette area. Do you think Juvederm is a good filler for this area of the face and for the intended use of addressing volume loss? Thanks
About 5 years ago I had Juverderm injected to my Marionette lines, I had 1.5ml in total. Is it possible it has migrated even after only having it done once? I want to get my lips done and worried it'll make my face look odd with the lumps on either side. Unfortunately the lady who originally did my marionette lines has closed up shop so can't approach her for advice.
Im a 30 yr old female. I got 1 cc of Juvederm filler injected into my nasolabial folds/marionette lines. Im normal weight. This was my first time getting filler. Im concerned that when the filler dissolves, my skin will sag and be stretched out. I dont plan on getting filler again so Im worried it will look stretched out when it dissolves. I read online that this can occur, but only with excessive amounts of filler. I still wanted to be sure my skin wont sag or be stretched.
36 years old. Noticed volume loss the last 2 years (texture/tone of skin is also not the best). Undereyes seem more hollow & nasio labial areas seem more pronounced (from sagging cheeks) with the beginnings of faint smiles lines, & faint marionette lines. Corners of mouth seem to droop from beginnings of sagging cheeks. I have been given 2 opinion: 2 syringes of Restylane Lyft in cheeks OR 1 syringe of Juvederm Ultra Plus XC along w/a PRP Lift & PRP Facial, w/SkinPen Microneedling.
One and a half used each side. Although it looks good, eyes look better and cheeks nice, it didnt do much for the lines around nose. I still want The marionette lines done but someone said they could feel the filler move around her mouth. How common is this? Also. I was quite sore in cheeks but it is only one day since injections. I have a headache also. Hopefully this goes away. Thanks
I had Juvederm Ultra injected in my marionette lines 6 days ago. Im shocked that I have raised lumpy lines running down both sides of my mouth. I also have intentions in each side of my upper lip. Although I did not have my lips done. I have been expecting this to calm down or settle, but each day it looks exactly the same. Is this normal? Will it settle within a 2 week period. Im so self conscious of the way I look now that Ive cancelled many plans in the last 6 days.
I had Juvederm done on Friday for my nasolabial lines and marionette lines. I expected swelling (which I had, and is reducing) but didn't expect hardness under the skin. It feels like two hard lines running down the nasolabial lines. Is this normal? And if so, how long will it last?
My face is gaunt with loss of volume and several marionette lines when I smile. Would juvederm work for this area? I've had restylane in past and it made my skin appear blue and didn't work that well. I'm hoping Juvederm will give a better result. Is one syringe enough (hat is all I can afford at this time.) When I made the appt, I was informed my PS has a nurse do the injections. I trust my PS, but is this ok? Would one syringe be enough for marionette and a little in my lips?
