35 yo male hit with a pipe when i was a kid and had a tooth removed in highschool both happened on left side of face and now i feel i have a severe assymetric appearance in eyes and jaw / cheek area. Extremely self conscious im not a fan of plastic surgery but i would like to do find out if any procedures exist that could correct my face around the eye and jaw
Hi I'm hoping to get some surgery done (plastic or maxilofacial) but just need help to understand what procedures can help. I am trying to make my mid face more defined while also getting my jaw more angular . I have attached two pictures where one is me and the other is photo edited of what I would like to have. Are these expectations realistic and what type of procedures would best fit me in your humble opinion.
I am a 36 year old woman who is looking to ask what options I have in regards to jaw re-allignment or reduction surgery . I have spoken to 2 doctors and received quite conflicting advice with one suggesting simply taking my lower jaw 2 mm in to reduce protrusion and the other telling because of my age this is not possible . The second doctor was in the UK's NHS - so I am quite confused and would appreciate any advice.
I am looking forward to getting a couple of surgeries that include. Rhinoplasty, under eye fat transfer, a little bit perhaps fat transfer on my lips to expunge asymmetric look. But predominantly jawbone shave and chin. That is because I don't like how angular it is and looks squarish. Where my chin protrudes when I smile. My concerns are whether my skin gets saggy and most importantly, will by any means it will change my cheek dimples. Even a little bit?
How many of these could I have at one time? I want to have my: -Forehead reshaped (reduce bossing, make it flatter) -Nose bridge reduced in size -Chin reduction + forward angle implant -Mandibular implants -Hairline transplant How long would it take to accomplish all this start to finish? Would I have to do them in different phases?
I am wondering if chin reduction surgery, reducing the bone is high risk like they say jaw surgery and jaw shaving is? Is it less risky? Is nerve damage a huge concern? I am also wondering who would be more/better qualified to do a chin reduction, a maxillofacial surgeon or a facial plastic surgeon?? Thanks
I have a typical broad asiatic face, with a pronounced jaw. I have tried masseter botox but did not see results. I am considering a lower face lift or a jaw reducting surgery. I still want to keep the angularity or my face but would like it less broad and uneven.
