I'm not sure if IPL is the right treatment . I have this one spot and some broken capillaries under my eyes. The spot on my nose is my main concern. I used a benzoyl peroxide wash that caused a rash under my eyes on top of my cheeks. I now have this faint brown periorbital ring that looks like a shadow making my undereyes look worse. If I only treat the nose spot with laser, is it cheaper? If I need to do the entire face, will it also help the pih under eyes? Alternative treatments?
I got 5 IPL treatments over the last 6 months to treat my rosacea and have noticed a rash-like appearance on both sides of my face since starting the treatment. It started as a faint small red mark after the 1st session and I wrote it off as nothing too serious. It eventually kept growing and increasing in size with each session and my derm kept telling me that it was my rosacea acting up and that eventually, the IPL would fix it. Is there anything I can do to help reverse the laser damage?
Could the rash on my skin be eczema? Over the course of the winter, I have developed a rash on my face that seems to be getting worse. It started in the colder months with peeling and reddened nose and cheeks after a shower. It has slowly evolved to small reddened and raised bumps (worse after shower) that stay red all day. My skin is still peeling. I am no longer using any acids or anti aging on my skin at all. What could it be?
I have rashes on my underarm and it is on and off. I've already booked an appointment for IPL sessions but i'm worried that my rashes might get worse after and i might scratch it. If it is safe, can i use cream for my underarm? Im using neoderm cream even without rashes
I have recently developed a rash over various parts of my body (face excluded) which my GP believes is palpable purpura (or vasculitis). If it is confirmed that I have vasculitis, will I be able to continue with IPL treatments or are there potential risks to people with this condition? Also, as the main reason for me undergoing IPL is to rejuventate my arms (particularly forearms) and I wish to know if this is the best treatment option available or is there something else better on the market?
