I had IPL 5 days ago and my skin has gone crazy. Should I go to my dermatologist? I had ipl 5 days ago and my skin has red blotches, stings, itches and a few tiny white pimples. I did the ipl for rosacea that was diagnosed by my dermatologist. Does my face have some kind of infection? Was I allergic to the gel? Should I go back to my dermatologist who did not do the procedure. Was using a sulphur face wash prescribed by my dr before ipl. Stopped 5 days before. Not sure what I should do.
I have blotchy skin with slight rosacea. I have had these treatments before but not sure how effective they are. I have open pores between my eyebrows and think that profractional laser would be better. My chest gets very red and blothchy when I drink. What would be recommended to stop or alleviate that? Thank you
I had a doctor do IPL on some facial veins a few months ago, which left me with a blotchy and scratchy skin texture. I have some inflamed whiteheads and milia as well. I recently saw a dermatologist and he gave me differin to help my skin texture, but it aggravated things. How do I go about treating such a condition? Are there any meds I should use to repair the damaged skin tissues? I also have some broken capillaries & cracks under my skin from the laser - any way to fix this without laser?
I've had trouble shaving for years, and it's very painful for me. I also have very sensitive skin and after I shave my face is red, blotchy, and in pain. I would like to thin the hair on my face, and make it less painful to shave, and perhaps reduce the frequency of it. I would like to try IPL treatment, but don't know if I should. Would it have any effect on my facial hair? Could it reduce it in any way what so ever?
